OUR JOURNEY

Allco Construction was founded in 2006 in Reno, Nevada by Robert Herman, building on his experience with Dryco Inc., a commercial framing and drywall company. From the very beginning, Allco earned a reputation for stepping in on complex or troubled projects and delivering results on time and on budget.

Over the years, the company has grown from local Reno projects to major commercial, multi-family, and hospitality builds throughout Nevada, establishing a track record of successful, high-quality projects and strong client relationships.

1999

Robert Herman founded Dryco Inc., a union commercial framing and drywall company. The company focused on successful project completion while acting as a liaison between owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.

2006

Allco Construction was founded. The company’s first major project was taking over the troubled 13-story Palladio condominium in downtown Reno, completing it on schedule and performing upgrades in high-end units. This project required an Unlimited Class B license and set the foundation for Allco’s reputation in handling complex builds.

2006–2012

Allco completed a variety of projects, including the 23-story Montage condo conversion and over 200 Dotty’s remodels and new locations, expanding its expertise in commercial and multi-family developments.

2012–2018

The company grew into hospitality and large commercial projects, including the Hoover Dam Lodge renovation, Laughlin River Lodge, and major remodels at the Atlantis and Peppermill resorts. During this time, Allco also developed a reputation for rescuing troubled projects, including The Waterfront apartment complex, paving the way for future multi-family design-build work.

2018-2021

Allco significantly expanded its multi-family design-build portfolio while maintaining its reputation for high-end commercial and hospitality work. By bringing architectural and drafting capabilities in-house, the company strengthened its ability to deliver seamless, coordinated projects from initial concept to final ribbon-cutting.
